第18回甲信越写真サロンの審査でお世話になりました。

全日本写真連盟関東本部会議室でした。私は初めて審査に立ち会いました。

一枚一枚に写真を先生の前に差し出すと人物の写真では「いい顔しているね」との言葉が印象的でした。

写真は「推薦します」の瞬間です。

Thank you for your help in the examination of the 18th Koshinetsu Photo Salon.

It was the meeting room of the Kanto Headquarters of the All Japan Photo Federation. I witnessed the examination for the first time.

When I presented each photo in front of the teacher, I was impressed with the words "You have a nice face" in the person's photo.

私は、神保町で飲食店を営んでおります。

30年程前に、山本勝之さん（かっちゃん）からご紹介頂き、懇意にさせて頂きました。

写真だけで無く、音楽や本などの話もしてくださいました。

「ブラフマンの埋葬」が教えて頂いたのが最後になってしまいました。

About 30 years ago, I was introduced by Mr. Katsuyuki Yamamoto (Kacchan), and I was very kind to him.

He talked about music and books as well as photographs.

It was the last time that "Bluffman's burial" taught me.

その年。水族館劇場がヨコハマトリエンナーレに参加するkとになり、鬼海さんが屋外写真展をしてくださいましたが、そのための写真パネルの試作品を確認しに行った時のものです。

いつも朗らかで優しい鬼海さんのことを懐かしく思い出します。

That year. The aquarium theater became k to participate in the Yokohama Triennale, and Mr. Kikai gave an outdoor photo exhibition, but it was when I went to check the prototype of the photo panel for that purpose.

I always remember the cheerful and gentle Kikai-san.

２、３枚目は会場の様子です。

憧れの鬼海さんにお会いして、気さくに話しかけて頂けたこと、今でも大切な思い出です。

The first one was taken with my camera in the style of Mr. Kikai.

The second and third pieces are the scene of the hall.

It is still an important memory to meet Mr. Kikai, who I admired, and talk to him in a friendly manner.

１０年以上になると思いますが、大阪ビジュアルアーツの日本海での合宿にて２回ほどご一緒させて頂きました。

恩師百々俊二前学校長が度々合宿にて鬼海さんの講演会を開催し、当時の学生はもとより私も他の先生方も沢山刺激を頂きました。

ゆったりと日本海の海を泳ぎ笑顔で生徒たちと鳥賊焼きを頬張り、夜は山形弁で写真を熱く語り、酒を飲み交わしたひとときは今でも忘れません。

もうお会い出来ないことは大変残念ですが、毎年東京ビジュアルの授業では必ずポートレイトの名作として紹介し、これからも学生たちもこれから刺激を受けていくことと思います。

I think it will be more than 10 years, but I have been together twice at the training camp in the Sea of Japan of Osaka Visual Arts.

Former school principal Shunji Dodo often held lectures by Mr. Kikai at the training camp, which inspired not only the students at that time but also myself and other teachers.

I still remember the moment when I swam leisurely in the Sea of Japan, smiled and cheered on the grilled birds with the students, talked about the pictures with Yamagata dialect at night, and had a drink.

I'm very sorry that I can't meet you anymore, but I will definitely introduce it as a portrait masterpiece in the Tokyo Visual classes every year, and I think that the students will continue to be inspired.

東京都写真美術館でプラチナプリント・ワークショップが開催されたときに鬼海さんが受講者として参加されてまして、記念撮影をお願いした時のものです。

写真展や写真集で作品を拝見しファンでしたので、気さくに記念撮影に応じていただき感激しました。

When the Platinum Print Workshop was held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, Mr. Kikai participated as a student and asked for a commemorative photo.

I was a fan of seeing the works at photo exhibitions and photo books, so I was deeply moved by the kindness of taking a commemorative photo.
