病室ではチェーホフの全集から家から何巻か持って行った。
大学の頃に買った全集は何回も読み返している。。
他に、『赤目四十八瀧心中未遂』（著：車谷長吉）である。
久しぶりに読んだ。
非常に深い感銘をうけた。
舞台が大阪の尼崎で、東北出身の私には衝撃的で描かれている人間の生きざまに刺激を受けた。
いまはあまり読まれていないと思うが古典に値する名著だと思う。
映画もよかったが、原作はすごい久しぶりに読むと体が震えるくらいの興奮を覚えた。
若い人たちにも是非読んでもらいたい。
本の装丁もとても素晴らしい。
この本の編集を手掛けたのは、友人の森正明さんである。
